[Samsung also offers the Galaxy Note 10 at Rs. 69,999 and the Galaxy Note 10+ at Rs. 79,999, they are a generation older and thus have not been mentioned in the list. However, they offer a stylus, the S-Pen, and that is considered a much requested product by many people looking for phones in this price range. However, speaking only in terms of performance, the S20+ is better in terms of the processor, the cameras, the battery life and the 120Hz fluid display. The Note 20, releasing later this year would bring all of the features of the S20, and more along with the stylus, and will be an improvement over the Note 10]

The Verdict: We cannot declare one winner in this price segment. The phones are completely different, one being Android and another iOS. The target audience is different, and it is up to your choice and liking which is the phone for you. The processor on the iPhone is superior to the one on the S20+, the camera performance is similar, but the video recording on the iPhone is better. The battery life on the S20+ is much better, and also it comes with support for an SD card. These are the key differences between these phones and it is up to you to prioritize features based on your need and usage.

Realme... A formidable player?

All of us know that Realme has been making some amazing smartphones at some really affordable prices. Their phones have really been the buzz around town, and this growth has boomed quite recently. Here we take a look at this company, and why Realme might be the next big brand to watch out for. A sub-brand of Oppo, Realme started off by launching its first phone, the Realme 1, as recently as May 2018. Instantly it became a rage, and the sales numbers of the company even in its recent years were incredible. The company was started as a rival to the vastly popular and the budget king - Xiaomi. The idea was simple, to offer everything that Xiaomi did, and more at a price point which was just as affordable. The phone was instantly a success. They managed to provide a particularly great camera experience, far better than the ones offered by the rival companies in this segment. This appealed to the young crowd, the main target of this budget category, and the company saw great profits by...

The Future of the Chinese Smartphone Market

With the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic taking center-stage, things are not exactly smooth in the tech space too. Many countries are citing "poor Coronavirus transparency" as their reason to drop Chinese products as their vendors, or to stop doing business with them. Here is what we think the future holds for China. Recently UK decided to drop Huawei as their 5G vendor, and expressed a strong wish to cut all ties with the Chinese tech giant, in the foreseeable future. This doesn't come as a surprise, as people around us are mentioning the same thing, to try to reduce their reliance on Chinese products. But it really is easier said than done. Take the smartphone industry for instance. In India, the market share of Chinese smartphones is well above 65% ( source ). These phones primarily target the budget and mid-range sections of the market. India, being a huge market for the budget smartphones, is heavily dependent on these brands like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo, Rea...
